In EVERMORE, a battle royale set amidst the ruins of an ancient, advanced civilization, I led the concept design for both characters and environments, crafting the game’s unique visual and narrative identity from the ground up.
Character Design & Lore Development

Character Design & Lore

We initially aimed for a Disney-inspired style but shifted to a more mature aesthetic, blending cartoonish elements with an edgier vibe. Designing humanoid animal warriors, each character has a detailed backstory tied to the lore, giving them individuality and depth. The roster includes:

Fox: Agile, Light Class fighter.
Shaman Goat: Mystical, Medium Class support character.
Tank Ox: Heavy Class powerhouse with strong defenses.
Dragon: Versatile leader of the Hero Class.

The challenge was balancing uniqueness with unity, ensuring each character stood out while maintaining a cohesive design for team dynamics.
Environment & Map Design

The environment reflects a decayed yet vibrant world, inspired by ancient ruins and sprawling forests. Using a modular tiling system (400m x 400m tiles), I ensured scalability for various match sizes, while keeping the world visually consistent. The map includes central and smaller POIs, designed to encourage exploration and strategic gameplay.

This approach allowed for seamless transitions between regions, creating a rich, immersive world where both characters and environments complement each other.
